Tastethemoment runs a specialty coffee bar at 1066 Hamilton Street, Suite 210, Vancouver, BC V6B 2R9, Canada. This page explains what happens when you use tastethemoment.site, send the enquiry form, sit on a subscription, or walk into the Yaletown room. We keep this short and operational because the site does very little with personal information on purpose.
What the enquiry form collects
The form on contact.php asks for a name, an e-mail address, a message of at least 25 characters, and a topic. Phone and head-count are optional. A consent box must be ticked before the form will send. Those fields exist so the bar can reply about pickup, a Morning Pass, Desk Fuel, Floor Service, a cart, or wholesale bags. We do not ask for payment card numbers on the site. We do not ask for government identification. We do not publish a registration or tax number anywhere on this site.
The message is used only to reply. It is not stored in a database on this website and it is not mailed from the site. There is no mailbox script, no SMTP hand-off, and no ticket file written by send.php. A successful submit redirects you back to the contact page with a confirmation panel. If you need a written record, keep a copy of what you typed or e-mail [email protected] from your own account after you see the confirmation.
A hidden timing field and a hidden honeypot field travel with the form. The timing field stops instant automated posts. The honeypot is ignored by people and is used only to discard obvious bots. Those fields are not used to profile anyone.
How we actually reply
When an enquiry is genuine, the crew reads the details you entered and replies from [email protected] or by phone if you left a number. That reply is ordinary e-mail or a phone call. It is not an automated campaign. If you later open a subscription, catering deposit, or wholesale account, the commercial record lives in our accounting tools, not in the public website.
Server logs
The host that serves tastethemoment.site keeps standard access logs. Those logs typically include the page requested, the time, a browser string, and an IP address. We use them to keep the site up, to diagnose a failed page, and to see if a form is being abused. We do not sell log files. We do not attach them to a marketing list. Retention follows the host’s ordinary rotation, which is measured in weeks unless a security review needs a longer window.
Cookies
The only first-party cookie this site sets for a choice you make is tm_consent. It stores whether you accepted the map embed or asked for essential use only. It lasts 180 days. We do not set analytics cookies. We do not set advertising cookies. Google Fonts load from Google’s servers and may allow Google to see that a browser requested the type files. The Google Maps iframe loads only after you accept cookies, because that embed can set Google cookies. The full table sits on the cookies page.
Subscriptions, invoices, and the till
If you hold Morning Pass at $89.00 CAD, Desk Fuel at $249.00 CAD, or Floor Service at $690.00 CAD, we keep the billing name, e-mail, delivery address, grind card, and invoice history long enough to run the route and to meet Canadian accounting rules. Catering deposits of 40% and the later balance invoice are kept on the same basis. Counter purchases on debit, credit, or tap create an ordinary card record through the till provider. Gift cards at $25, $50, and $100 are stored as a balance, not as a profile of what you drink.
We do not sell those records. We do not trade them to a data broker. We share them only with the processors who already have to see them: the card terminal, the accountant, the host, and a delivery or invoice tool if a plan requires it. A processor gets the minimum needed to charge a month, print a receipt, or drop a bag at a named floor.
Asking us to change or delete details
E-mail [email protected] if you want us to correct a name, change a delivery floor, or delete enquiry details we still hold in the inbox used to reply. Say what you sent and when. We confirm within one business day. Accounting records that the law requires us to keep, such as a paid invoice or a refund to a card, stay for the retention period that applies in British Columbia. They are not used for anything else.
You can also call +1 604 731 5096 after 10:00, when the weekday rush has thinned. We will not ask you to create an account on this website, because the website has no accounts.
Children
The bar serves anyone who walks in. The site is written for people who can place a paid order or sign a plan. We do not knowingly collect enquiry details from children in order to market to them. If a message was sent in error, write to [email protected] and we will delete the inbox copy we still have.
