Questions we get at the counter and on the phone.

Fourteen answers we already give in Yaletown. If your floor, cart, or allergen note is not here, use the enquiry form.

The bar answers most of these between tickets. Plans and carts need a written reply, which is why the enquiry form sits on contact.php. Deposit percentages and the $89 / $249 / $690 plan math are repeated on the refunds page so a facilities team can file one URL.

At the bar

Do you have Wi-Fi, and can we work on laptops?
Yes. Wi-Fi is on for the room and the patio. Wall seats have power. We do not reserve tables. Two four-person tables stay laptop-free from 11:30 to 13:30 so lunch still has somewhere to sit. If the room is full, take the drink to go. The bar keeps the queue moving; it is not a private office.
How do dairy alternatives work, and what do they cost?
Oat is the default alternative because it is the ticket we see most. Soy and lactose-free milk sit in the same well. Each alternative adds $0.75 to the drink. Dairy from a Fraser Valley farm remains the uncharged default. If a milk is out, we say so before we steam. We do not discount a drink that already used the alternative you asked for.
Do you serve decaf?
Yes. Decaf runs on the second grinder all day so it never parks the house-blend hopper. The price matches the caffeinated drink. You can order any espresso or milk drink as decaf. Filter decaf appears only when the rotating lot is a decaf; we do not keep a second pour-over kettle for it. Ask at the brew bar if that week’s card lists one.
Can dogs come in?
Dogs stay on the patio. We keep water and a hook there. The indoor room is 34 seats and a food line, so we do not walk dogs through to the washroom or the till. Patio weather in Yaletown is the limit. If the patio is closed, we cannot seat a dog inside. Service animals are a different case; speak to the bar and we will make the room work.
How do allergens work at the bar?
Nuts run on the bar in pastry and some garnishes. Gluten-free bread is Friday only, while stocks last. We can talk through dairy alternatives. We cannot promise a nut-free bench, a gluten-free wand, or a kitchen that isolates trays. If a drink or plate is wrong, tell the bar and we remake it. The written remake and refund rules sit on the refunds page.

Plans & delivery

How do pickup orders work?
Call +1 604 731 5096 until 16:30. Name the drinks, the milk, and the time you will walk in. We start the ticket when the bar can hold it, then keep it for 30 minutes. Cancel by phone before we make it and the charge is reversed. After it is made, the 30-minute hold applies and a no-show cannot be refunded. You can also use the enquiry form with Topic set to Table or pickup.
Where are the beans roasted?
Weekly in East Vancouver. Bags rest 72 hours before they go on the bar or on a Tuesday route. Retail bags print the roast date. We do not roast inside Suite 210. The house blend stays Colombian and Brazilian. The filter lot rotates every two weeks. If you need a lot name for a floor card, we write it on the delivery label.
How do we pause a plan?
E-mail [email protected] at least five business days before the next drop. Pauses run in whole weeks and can total four weeks a year at no cost. The current paid month still runs if a delivery has already left East Vancouver. After four weeks, billing resumes on the next Tuesday or Thursday unless you cancel with 30 days’ notice.
What happens if a delivery is missed?
If we miss a scheduled route drop, we deliver within 24 hours or credit that week’s share of the plan. On weekly tiers that credit is one quarter of the monthly fee. If the concierge desk is closed, we use the backup name on the account and e-mail the floor. A miss you cause by blocking the loading zone is rebooked on the next route day.
Is there a minimum office size?
Morning Pass is for one person. Desk Fuel suits 10–30 people. Floor Service suits 40 or more, or any floor that will finish 20 kg in a month. We still quote smaller offices; they often start on Desk Fuel with fewer bags and an add-on 340 g at $19.00 CAD. Sample kits are free for offices over 15 people.

Events & payment

How do deposits and refunds work?
Catering holds a date with a 40% deposit. Cancel more than 10 business days ahead and the deposit comes back in full. Four to ten business days returns half the deposit. Under four business days we keep the deposit because staff and milk are already committed. If we cancel, you receive 100% within 5 business days. Counter, plan, and gift-card rules are written on the refunds page. Read the refunds page.
What payment methods do you accept?
The bar takes debit, credit, and tap. Pickup orders use the same till when you collect, unless we already took a card by phone. Plans over $200.00 CAD can be invoiced monthly. Morning Pass can be paid by tap or by card on file. We do not take cash on the cart. Gift cards are sold at $25, $50, and $100 and are not refundable for cash.
Is the shop accessible?
Entry is step-free from Hamilton Street. The washroom is accessible. The patio is level with the indoor floor. We do not have a customer parking stall. If you need the quieter wall seats, say so at the till and we will point them out. Service animals are welcome in the room. Call +1 604 731 5096 if you want the door held for a drop-off.
Where do we park and load?
Street parking and nearby lots serve Suite 210. We do not run a stall. Loading for bags, trays, and the cart uses the zone on Helmcken. A typical bag drop is four minutes. Cart setup needs a clear 2.1 m × 0.9 m floor and a 15 amp circuit. The Canada Line stop at Yaletown–Roundhouse is about 6 minutes on foot.

Refunds, pauses, and deposit math are also written in full on the refunds page. Pickup and cart questions can go to the enquiry form or +1 604 731 5096.
